Coyote Niko Koon will compete in the discus at State.
Potter-Dix's Coyote Track and Field teams competed at the District D-9 Meet, and the boys team tied for second place with Garden County, behind first place Leyton.
The girls team finished in sixth place, behind top finishers Crawford, Leyton and South Platte.
The Potter-Dix boys had many outstanding performances, with junior Luke Kasten winning the 100 and 200 Meter Dashes and taking fourth in the Long Jump. Senior Thomas Muldoon won the 800 Meters, placed second in the 400 Meters, and senior Niko Koon won the Discus.
