The Kimball cheer team earned third place in the Game Day category during last week's state competition at Heartland Event Center in Grand Island. Coach Carrie Tabor said the team's "dedication, talent and unwavering Longhorn spirit shone brightly on the competition mat. After pushing through injury and a tough field, this team put their very best out on the floor and showed the rest of the state what Kimball's all about." Tabor commended the cheerleaders: "You've made us proud to be part of the Kimball community. Your hard work, teamwork and passion all came together today, and we couldn't be more thrilled for each and every one of you."
