Community Supper Oct. 14 At The School

Good morning! Hope this finds you all enjoying some fall weather.

Little quieter in the Valley, or so it seems.

On this Saturday, October 9th, there will be a class at the BF Farm in Bayard. “Paint and Cider With Kelly” will run from 1-3 p.m. The address is 11249 Rd. 73.

That same evening there will be entertainment out at WNCC, PVC Performing Arts Center with the presentation of “The Comedy of Keith Wann.” This is Free and open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m.

Many of you are still cleaning up your summer garden, but if you find yourself in need of fresh produce remember the Morrill Farmers Market each Tuesday 3-6 p.m. and each Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Here on the home front Today! October 7th the Wildcat cross country team will head to Sidney and the high school football team will travel to South Platte for competition at 7 p.m.

It is also Nebraska Kids Fitness and Nutrition Day, so there will be activies for that.

On Friday, our 4th and 5th grade students will be attending Flowerfield. A different kind of education, really good! On Saturday, October 9th the junior high volleyball girls will compete in a MAC tournament at South Platte, and on that same date the Pep Band will perform in Chadron during their football game.

On Monday, October 11th, the regular school board meeting will be at the school at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, October 12th is Career Ag Day and on the 13th the junior high volleyball girls will play against Leyton at 2 p.m. and the football team will play at 3 p.m. Both games are on their turf.

Ignite! Youth group will be on Wednesday, October 13th, at the Harrisburg Community Church at 6 p.m. All junior/senior high students are welcome.

Here is a Heads Up! On October 14th, there will be a Community Supper at the school at 5:30 p.m. followed by community volleyball and flag football at 6:30 p.m.
