Ball control and weather challenged Banner Co. boys


Banner County faced more than tough opposition during their away game at Hay Springs last Friday, Sept. 23. Head coach Charles Jones said, “The game was shortened due to weather, the weather conditions were not good, lots of wind, rain then the lightning came in as well and that is what prompted the game ending where it was at.”

In addition to challenging weather conditions, the Wildcats had trouble maintaining ball control, with five turnovers, according to Jones.
