Wildcats fall to Minatare

A tough second quarter hurt the Banner County boys basketball team in a 62-25 loss at Minatare last Thursday.

The Wildcats (0-3) trailed 13-8 after the first quarter, before Minatare outscored them 17-2 in the second quarter for a 30-10 halftime lead. Minatare outscored Banner 32-15 in the second half.

Tyson Dahlgrin led the team offensively with 10 points, while Michael McKown added seven potions and three steals. Kadan Huber led the way with six rebounds.

Banner hosts Leyton on Friday and travels to Creek Valley on Saturday.
