Kimball takes third at WTC Conference tourney

The Kimball volleyball team took third place at the Western Trails Conference tournament held over the weekend. A winning week of volleyball for the Kimball High Lady Longhorns as they ran their season record to 14 wins and 12 losses. It started with a dual win at Grant as they handled Perkins County in 3 straight sets of 25-14 25-21 25-14. No problem for the Kimball ladies in this match with lots of players getting court time.

On Saturday it was off to Mitchell for the Western Trails Conference Tournament. Bridgeport is the 2014 WTC Conference Champions with Mitchell 2nd and Kimball 3rd. In first round play, Kimball won over Gordon Rushville 25-13 25-7 in what coach Vicki Mitchell termed, "Our best...
