Horn Golfers Head To Scottsbluff After Placing Fourth At Bridgeport, Morrill

The Kimball Longhorn golf team placed third at the Bridgeport Invite on Friday.

Top finishers for Kimball were Kyler Lusche with an 85 for fifth place.

Right behind Lusche was Connor Deboodt in sixth place, also with an 85.

The team continues to improve in giant leaps.

At Morrill on Monday, the team scored 352, good enough for fourth place and a 20 stroke improvement, according to coach Chuck Christiansen.

Lusche shot a 76 and took fourth, Branson Kiefer had an 87, and Connor Deboodt shot a 92.

Rounding out the team was Landon Norberg with a 96, and Ryker Behrens shot a 111.

The golfers will be in action in Scottsbluff on Monday, and on Friday they travel to Sutherland.
