Awards Come In For Kimball Trap Team

Anderson, Coleman, Cook, Hottell & Mazza Rank As Top Longhorns Shooters

A number of Kimball Longhorns trap team members will compete at the state meet in Doniphan on Saturday, June 8, after a regular season in which a number of shooters won awards.

The awards, which came out this past week, recognized the Kimball team for placing second in Class 1A / Conference 2 with 1,062.5 total points over the five-week season. Blair High School was first with 1,254.5 points.

Here’s a look at Kimball’s individual awards.

On the boys side, Teague Mazza ranked No. 5 in the conference with a 22.5 season average and Nolan Cook was No. 7 at 22.2. Blair’s Kalvin Kies was No. 1 at 23...
