She grew up in Brookhaven and graduated from High School.  On January 3, 1948 Flo was united in marriage with Jesse Wayne Robbins.  Together they lived in several states due to Wayne's employment in the oil field.  They lived in Mississippi, Louisiana,  North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, before settling in Kimball, Nebraska.  Flo and Wayne owned and operated Z & S Construction Co. Flo was always interested in sports and loved to bowl and golf.  She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and received her 75-year membership pin.  In 2009 she received the Women of the year award from the Kimball Chamber of Commerce.  Flo had a fun life in her 94 years.
