While out for a New Year's Day ride on her motorcycle, Claudyne Jones' daughter Shelly Myers stopped on a bridge by Broadwater to take a photo of her bike. Enjoying the view, Myers heard puppies yipping and barking below the bridge. She found three small cold and scared puppies. Eventually she was able to rescue them, and her daughter came to pick them up. They were taken to a rescue and found new homes quickly. By Tuesday afternoon, all of the puppies were adopted.
