Long-time residents and community minded citizens Jerry and Sharon Williams were selected as grand marshals for the 2023 Farmers Day. The Williams belong to the Methodist Church and help with church projects and Christmas events. Jerry has worked for years on the Farmers Day hamburger feed.
The Farmers Day volunteer award was presented to Craig Markum for his time and effort to the community's youth. He is involved in the youth basketball, baseball, and softball programs, including coordinating schedules and finding referees and umpires.
