The Kimball faithful and Longhorn cheer team show their spirit at the St. Pat's game. The Longhorns have a 1-2 record heading to Perkins County.
The Kimball Longhorns return to the field Friday night at 2-1 Perkins County after a pair of one-sided football games – one in which they won and one in which they lost.
The 1-2 Longhorns fell 69-0 last week to the visiting North Platte St. Pat's Irish, always a tough challenge and now 4-0 on the season. That matchup followed Kimball's 40-10 victory in its home opener over Leyton.
Kimball is 1-1 at home on the season, 0-1 on the road.
The squad's first district game arrives Friday, Sept. 22, against visiting Morrill.
