Kimball High athletes prepared for the fall season with last Friday's preseason 2023 Sports Tailgate. In the photos at right, the volleyball team scrimmaged that evening and the cross country was showcased in a practice outing. The girls golfers were the first Longhorns to get into varsity action at this week's Sidney Invite on Tuesday. In the left photo, Mallory Hottell takes a swing. Her teammates in Sidney were Hayden Sours, Aubrey Culek, and Carly Norberg. Results will appear in next week's Observer.
