Anderson, Hinton Take Top Honors July 19

The Kimball Women’s Golf Association Wednesday League is winding down its season. The nine-hole tournament was Wednesday, followed by three more weeks of league play, the Horse Race and Battle of Sexes.

Shellon Anderson brought her game to claim the top gross on July 19 in league play. Shellon shot a 48, and Regan Hinton took the top net score with a 38.

Charlotta Young claimed the lowest putts with 16, and flag prizes went to Dar Evertson, Phyllis Gross, and Daria Anderson-Faden.

On July 12, in league play, Phyllis Greenwood had low gross with a 48, low net went to Laura Hinton and Jan Bashaw. Karen Morrison and Jean Barrett tied with 15 putts.

On July 5, Pattie Klinginsmith came to play and shot a 42 to win low gross, followed by Phyllis Gross with low net of 35. Jean Barrett had only 13 putts to win that category.

Concluding league play in June was Phyllis Greenwood with a low gross of 48, and Regan Hinton came in with the low net of 35.

Charlotta Young and Phyllis Greenwood tied for low putts, and flag prizes belonged to Pattie Klinginsmith and Shirley Crossman.
