Cody Brinkman Rides At Rodeo Nationals

The high school rodeo season will start again for Kimball's bull rider Cody Brinkman in two weeks at Bassett, Nebraska. Cody spent last week in Gillette, Wyoming, at the National High School Finals Rodeo. He rode bulls on Monday and Friday but got "bucked off" both times.

Cody said he was a little disappointed with the "tough draw," and the experience was "definitely different." He said there was a vast range of bulls, and it depended on the "luck of the draw."

The bulls Cody drew had stats from the NFR.

He said, "I know now what to look for in the different bulls, and I will talk to the contractor and see where they bought the bulls, see where they came from."

Cody hopes to make it to next year's high school finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
