Holiday Heroes, formerly Shop With a Cop, celebrated its 12th year of providing a special Christmas for area children. Participating in the event were the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department, KVFD Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Nebraska State Patrol, Red Knights, Kimball Police Department and the Kimball County Sheriff's Office. Festivities included the breakfast at the Kimball Fire Hall and kids getting the chance to shop at Dollar General. Donations to the cause, once again, made it all possible.
