Master mason Bob Ash works on placing the bricks at the Veterans Memorial Wall in Gotte Park.
After numerous challenges, including COVID, Brian Howard from the Kimball VFW is excited to get the bricks on the Veterans Memorial Wall in Gotte Park.
By the end of this week, the 169 bricks purchased are expected to be laid by Bob and Larry Ash.
Howard said, "It is finally coming together. We wanted to be patient and do it right."
Howard said the VFW will be selling bricks for the project again soon and expect to have them next spring. They will be added to the wall.
