Thomas-Lewis Leads XC In Gering

Kimball Varsity, JV And Junior High Compete At Five Rocks

Leading the pack of Kimball cross country runners at the Gering Invite on Sept. 2 was Xavier Thomas-Lewis in 19th place with a time of 21:32.80.

Tiffany Johnson’s crew participated in the 5000 meter small school division at Five Rocks Amphitheater.

Braylon Miller and Braxton Miller placed 23rd and 24th and clocked in at 22:18.39 and 22:27.72.

Wyatt Cords came in 26 place in a tough field with a time of just under 23 minutes.

Shannen Acheson placed 32nd in the 5K JV run with a time of 32:50.30.

The JV boys 5K event saw Joseph Bremer land in fifth place, running the course in 22:10.91, followed by Eddie Duran and Jacob Wendt in 26th and 27th places.

In the 3K junior high action, Emmaline Tabor placed 39th, Aundrea Christiansen 62nd and Deanna Solis and Charlotte Bremer 64th and 65th, respectively.

Kimball eighth-grader Trey Cook placed 31st with a time of 13:38.17 out of a 111 runners. Following Trey was Wyatt Cook in 71st place and Connor Markum in 91st. Both Trey and Wyatt Cook run cross country and play football for Kimball Junior High.
