Banner County Republicans Hold 1st Meeting

Kathy Natale Files To Run For Treasurer

Seventy-five Banner County Republicans met Wednesday, Aug. 24, to hold their inaugural meeting.

Officers were elected and Kathy Natale was nominated to fill the vacancy of the County Treasurer.

Theresa Thibodeau assisted in the procedure and made remarks to the crowd about how all voters working together can make a difference in the direction of their county and the country.

Congressman Adrian Smith sent a congratulatory letter to the group.

The group’s emergence comes during a time when Banner County government and residents are dealing with the aftershocks of legal cases stemming from controversial behavior of some staff members that took place in the County Courthouse.

Thibodeau spent over an hour after the meeting speaking with attendees.

Brian Hardin, legislative candidate for District 48 was also on hand to speak one-on-one with attendees after the meeting.

On Thursday Aug. 25, Kathy Natale filed the Certificate Of Nomination from the Banner County Republican Party to be placed on the November ballot as candidate for County Treasurer.

The next Banner County Commissioners meeting is schduled for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6.
