Time Capsule Found At New Hospital Site

This time capsule, encased in cement, was buried by the West Elementary first grade classes in the year 2000 and unearthed during construction work at the new Kimball hospital site. It remains unopened.

In 2000, the first grade classes at Kimball's West Elementary School filled and buried a time capsule which was to be opened in the year 2025.

No one knew that before the time capsule would be opened in 2025, elementary classes would be moved out of West Elementary and the building would be sold to Kimball Health Services. Eventually, Kimball Health Services would plan to build a new hospital on the area, so that time capsule has been moved.
