HOSPITAL MOVING AHEAD

A Hillen Construction Co. excavator makes short work of removing the 1950 boiler unit from the basement of the former West Elementary School, as progress continues on Kimball's new hospital building project. The company, along with general contractors Haselden Construction Co. of Centennial, Colo., removed the nearly 1,000 pound cast iron boiler before filling the basement in preparation for laying the new hospital's foundation. Installation work also has started for the facility's sanitary sewer lines.
