Kimball, Potter-Dix Shooters Fare Well At State Trap

The Kimball Longhorns trap team state results have been calculated, and awards for the top three individuals in varsity male, junior varsity male and female, and novice male and female have been announced.

Area results include Dawsen Monheiser from Potter-Dix, who placed 2nd in the varsity division with a score of 90/100

Sweeping the female junior varsity division and receiving state awards were Kambree Hottell in first place with a 71, followed by Grace Anderson also with a 71, and 3rd place went to Anna Coleman with 53.

Kimball Longhorn shooters performed exceptional in the male junior varsity division with top award winners – 1st place Tig Woolington hitting 86 of the clay pigeons, and 3rd place David Bond with 81 hits.

In the Novice division, Potter-Dix’s Kaitlyn Nicklas and Kimball’s Sophie Coleman tied for second place with a score of 60.

While in the male novice, local shooters swept the top three places. Tradin Hottell scored a 63, and Potter-Dix shooters John Dhooge and Kyle Lenstrom were second and third, respectively.
