Kimball Ranch Rodeo Part Of A Busy Week In Area

Banner County

Good morning, beautiful here this morning. Clear blue skies and after a wonderful rain – everything is washed and looking refreshed. Best way to start off another week, and it looks like it could be a pretty busy one too.

Close to home is the Kimball Ranch Rodeo and Bronc Riding at the fairgrounds at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11th. Give Alex Engrstrom a call at 308-241-1760 and he has all the information.

And all this weekend from June 10-12 are Sidney Gold Rush Days with treasure hunts (the old-fashioned kind), a 5k walk/run, wagon rides, parade and more. Information may be found at sidneygoldruhsdays.org.

If you are in the valley on Thursday, June 9th you might hear music in the air if you are anyway near Broadway. Bands On Broadway will be taking place for most of the day, so enjoy. The Free movie matinee shown at the Midwest Theater on the 9th is "Sing" and will start at 1:30 p.m. I have seen this one, more than once actually. Great movie for the young ones, and those young at heart.

On Saturday the 11th the annual Spring Up the Bluff run/walk will be hosted by the Next Young Professionals and Scottsbluff Physical Therapy. The run/walk begins at 8:00 a.m. and will be up the Monument Road in Gering, 190276 Old Oregon Trail Road.
