Tim Nolting, president of Plains Historical Society, opened the Smithsonian exhibit at the Fraternal Hall on Saturday morning, thanking everyone involved and reading a letter from U.S. Rep. Adrian Smith. The exhibit, "Crossroads: Change in Rural America," is open to the public 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. See other photo, Page A8.
