Missile Project Gets Going

Land Survey Work Starts Next Week

The Kimball area will begin to see a little activity associated with the missile project.

Starting in the Pawnee Grasslands and then moving north, sub-contractors will begin the surveying process for the environmental impact statement, project officials told the Observer.

To have “no surprises,” Joseph Coslett and Terry Higgins from the 90th Missile Wing at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne said they were in Kimball on Monday to keep people informed.

Landowners in the areas affected have already received letters, but the 90th Missile Wing wants to keep the lines of communication open...
