Horns, Coyotes, Cats Looking To Restart

Kimball senior Megan Spicer and all the Longhorn basketball players and wrestlers are shooting to resume games Jan. 11.

Varsity and junior varsity sports return over the next two weeks for the student-athletes at Kimball, Potter-Dix and Banner County high schools.

As of Dec. 29, games were scheduled to resume following the Christmas break and COVID safety precautions that forced schedule changes before the break.

Please remember that more schedule changes may occur, and check with the schools about any safety precautions being taken at the games.

Here's how schedules for the three schools look for the first week of games after the break.

Kimball Longhorns

Jan. 11, boys and girls basketball at Morrill.

Jan. 12, 4 p.m., boys and girls basketball vs. Potter-Dix.

Jan. 15, 4 p.m., boys and girls basketball at Bridgeport.

Jan. 16, 9 a.m., wrestling at Chase County tournament.

Jan. 16, 1 p.m., boys and girls basketball at Gordon Rushville.

Potter-Dix Coyotes

Jan. 8, 4 p.m., basketball at Bayard.

Jan. 9, 1 p.m., basketball vs. South Platte.

Jan. 12, 4 p.m., basketball at Kimball.

Jan. 15, 4 p.m., basketball at Leyton.

Jan, 16, 1 p.m., basketball vs. Hay Springs.

Banner County Wildcats

Jan. 9, 9 a.m., wrestling at Garden County.

Jan. 11, 5 p.m., JV basketball vs. Bridgeport.

Jan. 12, 4 p.m., JV basketball at Creek Valley.

Jan. 15, 5 p.m., JV basketball vs. Garden County
