KIMBALL'S NEW CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Kimball city workers this past week began stringing up Christmas lights on downtown buildings to replace old, worn-down lights that were taken down.

The goal is to get the new lights all up in time for the Christmas season, electric department Superintendent Bill Hinton told the Observer. Above: Workers put up lights on 2nd St. as part of the approximate $8,500 project.
