Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Good morning Banner County, friends near and far. Hope you are all well and enjoying the weather.
County Fairs are starting up in some areas and finishing up in others. The Kimball/Banner County Fair will be running totally different this year and seriously I am not even trying to keep up with it all.
Exhibits are different, sales are different, and as far as entertainment goes, I do not know. I am sure you can check here in the Observer this week and get any information that you might need, or go over there and check things out. The Fair days will end Friday with on line sales, at least for the beef.
As most of you know there were problems out at the Oliver Reservoir this past week, and maybe still are. We sure hate that and hope that the situation is cleared up quickly.
And now we have unsolicited seed packets. Well, the last ploy for us Americans was the coin shortage, so now we have weird seeds showing up. Seriously though, if you receive any of these keep the packaging, labels and all information, plus the seeds (hopefully unopened ) and call the USDA APHIS office immediately.

Speaking of school and learning. Did you know that you never truly understand something until you can explain it to your grandma?
