Plenty Of Birthdays This Week For Banner County Folks & Families

Good morning Banner County, friends near and far. I hope you all are doing well and getting ready for some sort of 4th of July celebration.

I am not sure what the plans are here, but I am pretty sure someone will let me know! As I mentioned last time, LaGrange is still hosting fireworks, but no ice cream social and the Camp Clarke Stampede Rodeo will take place in Bridgeport both on the 3rd and the 4th beginning at 7:30 both evenings and followed by fireworks.

Over in Alliance on Thursday, July 2nd beginning at 9:30 a.m. there will be Art at the Senior Center. They will host this in the parking lot and it is Free and open to the public. Also beginning on the 2nd and running every Thursday, through August 13th Bands on Broadway performances will take place in Scottsbluff at the 18th Street Plaza. Bring your chair and come enjoy some music and the food trucks.

The scheduled movie at the Midwest SkyView Drive-In on the 2nd is “Iron Giant” ( PG ) and the one for the 8th is ‘ Minions ( PG ). The gates open at 7:30 p.m. and movies start about a half hour after sundown. These are also Free!.

Beginning on July 4th the Scottsbluff Farmer’s Market will begin and continue until early/late August. they will hold market at the 18th Street Plaza from 8 - 11 a.m.

The market in Mitchell is on every Thursday and the one in Bridgeport begins this July 8th is from 4 p.m. until dark weather permitting. Theirs will be held in the Karette parking lot.

Beginning on Tuesday, July 7th, “Imagine Your Story” the summer reading program at the Scottsbluff Leid Library will be held from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Stop by and pick up your goody bag and crown craft kit to get started.
