Lady Longhorns Fall In Subdistrict Final, Season Ends

The Kimball High Girls Basketball season came to an end this past week in the sub-district finals losing to South Platte 45-17. The Lady Longhorns had advanced to the championship game by virtue of their first round win over Perkins County, 46-31. The season concluded for the Kimball ladies with a record of 8 wins and 13 losses.

Kimball got out to an early lead over Perkins County and were on top 12-4 after one quarter of play and never trailed as they picked up their first round victory over the Lady Plainswomen in play held at Ogallala.
