Cody Brinkman, only a seventh-grader, has been Kimball's top junior high cross country runner all season and was once again this past week at Ogallala. He is shown striding out at the Kimball Invite a couple of weeks back.
Chantel Malson ran to yet another top ten finish at last week's Ogallala Cross Country Invite. The talented young sophomore ran 10th in the field of 114 varsity girl runners and her time of 21:49.4 moved her up into 2nd all time in the Kimball High School sophomore records for the 5K distance.
Malson's personal best was just one of the personal best times ran by a Kimball girl as Raven Johnson duplicated that feat with her time of 26:41.09 to finish 74th. Brandi Councilman ran a season best time of 28:48.8 and ran 92nd. Alycia Vrbas ran 112th with a time of 34:33.69.
