World Qualifier 8-Ball Continues

Line Um Up & Chute No. 7 Take On North Platte

Two Kimball APA 8-Ball Teams made the trip to North Platte this past weekend for the World Qualifier Tournament to compete with teams from all across the state of Nebraska for a chance to play in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Line Um Up and Chute No. 7 qualified for the tournament during playoffs, Line Um Up qualified for the state tournament in the Fall Session Play-Offs and Chute No. 7 just recently qualified a few short weeks ago to get the go a head.

Line Um Up faced off with Ball Breakers in their first match of the weekend but couldn’t come up with a win while Chute No. 7 played Shooters 8-Ball in the first round and advanced in the winners bracket to the next round.

On Sunday the Line Um Up crew played Sharp Shooters and fell short while Chute No. 7 played House Bar but came up short.

Chute No. 7 will travel back to North Platte this coming Saturday for the third round of tournament play facing off with Admiral’s Cove.

Team members of the Line Um Up team include Tyson Culek, Chauncey Pedersen, David Aguiniga, Christina Culek, Bruce Tjosvold, Trish Crossman and Jim Saukerson.

Chute No. 7 team members are Dakota Kuhns, Robie Dunkin, Anthony Kuhns, Roger Wynne, Alex Engstrom, Curtis Wisely Jr. and Donny Petersen.
