Ryan Michael Rux

Ryan Michael Rux of Rapid City, SD, formerly Casper, WY, was born June 9, 1973 and passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 24, 2019. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. @ the Highland Park Community Church in Casper, WY. A reception will follow immediately at the Holiday Inn Express @ 4250 Legion Lane, Casper, WY.

Ryan approached everything and everyone with spunk and determination with an infectious smile. He didn't hesitate to travel near or far to attend his children's sporting events. He anticipated hunting season with vim and vigor. Ryan pursued his childhood dream of operating heavy equipment, and he had a talent for transforming trucks into showpiece rigs.

'Life Changes', a song by Thomas Rhett, captures how much life can change in such a short period. Ryan's recent life was a whirlwind of changes from receiving his welding certification to new marriage, new town, and new job. He will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind his wife, Roni; his two children, Daultyn and Danica, from his first marriage to Tami; two brothers, Dave (Carolyn)Rux of Aurora, CO, Ron (Amy)Rux of Cottonwood, AZ, a sister, Robin (Rich) Phillips of Pearsall, TX, sister-in-law Jean Rux of Laramie, WY, aunt, Jan 'Dolly' Armstrong of Lander, WY. He is preceded in death by his brother, Russell Rux, parents, Ralph and Connie, step parent, Jim Powell, uncle Art Armstrong and nephew Clint Rux. He is remembered in love by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
