Mary Lynch students await the "birth" of 30 Bobwhite Quail

Thirty quail eggs, all in a row, inside Amy McManigal's incubator. McManigal and her sixth grade science class have been hatching eggs throughout the school year, including chicken eggs, guinea eggs and now the tiny Bobwhite quail eggs.
The class learns about incubation periods and how each species differs from others through the projects. Other Mary Lynch classes are invited to come learn from the experience and McManigal live streams the process on YouTube as well so others can enjoy the experience.
These eggs are expected to begin hatching in less than 20 days...
