Dolores (Dee) Anne Horton

Dolores (Dee) Anne Atkins Horton, age 77, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away March 21, 2018. She was born April 18, 1940 in Kimball, Nebraska to Vernon DeWitt and Virginia Maida Stearley Atkins. She married Jerry Donald (Don) Horton on August 2, 1985.

Dee loved music and was a former member of the Fort Collins Women's Chorale and Sweet Adelines Barbershop Chorus. She was also dedicated to her Christian faith attending Ft. Collins First Christian Church in the past, and Greeley Cornerstone Community church at the time of her death.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Don; daughter Ruth Schoonover (Timothy), son Matthew Schoonover; Don's children: Jeffery Horton, Stacy Horton, Stephanie Soder (Fred), Craig Horton (Angela); grandsons Ian Benjamin Soder, Austin Franklin Green; granddaughters: Jessica Nichole Musso (Anthony), Kaitlyn Anne Zeigler, Madison Leigh Horton, Merrell Grace Horton, Emily Katrina Soder, Brooke Lindsay Schoonover, Tylar Jade Schoonover, Mia Salazar; great granddaughters, McKenzie Jo Tiemann, Gianna Marie Musso.

Memorial services will be held at Greeley Cornerstone Community Church at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 29.
