The Dundy County-Stratton LadyTigers held off Kimball in the championship game of the Kimball 4-Team Tournament over the weekend to take top honors and Potter-Dix won over Morrill for consolation and 3rd place honors.
In the opening game of girl's play, Dundy Co-Stratton won over Morrill 66-38 while Kimball won out over Potter Dix 66-47 in the other first round pairing.
It was a case of Kimball having more depth than the Lady Coyotes who have only 8 players on their roster, led by 3 very talented seniors. The game stayed close the first 3 periods with Kimball holding a mere 42-40 lead at...
