Unwanted items are often dumped on the side of county roads or hauled to the alley next to the dumpster. Many of these items can be taken to the Kimball Landfill free of additional charge for many City and County residents.

Kimball Police Department and the City of Kimball wish to remind residents that old mattresses and other big household items should be taken directly to the Kimball Landfill.

These items do not go out by the dumpster, as some residents have done. They need to be disposed of properly, this simple task helps out everyone in the community.

The City of Kimball Landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 in the morning until noon and again from 1 – 3 in the afternoon.
