Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Local Scouts wanted

Cub Scout Pack 31 and Boy Scout Troop 100, both chartered by Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball, invite you and your son to become part of one of America's leading values-driven organizations.

The Cub Scout program, for boys in grades K-5, is a valuable resource that can help families accomplish worthy goals while building and strengthening relationships within the family. Cub Scouting combines fun with educational activities and lifelong values. Young men in sixth grade and above are eligible to register as Boy Scouts with Troop 100. Boy Scouts take part in challenging outdoor experiences and develop leadership skills they can use throughout their lives.

You're invited to be a part of this dynamic organization! Boys in grades K-5 and their families are invited to a Cub Scout informational meeting at Trinity United Methodist Church at 4th and Oak Street from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. A similar meeting for prospective Boy Scouts – sixth grade and above – will take place at the church on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Scout leaders will be available to answer questions about the Scouting program and interested Scouts can register at each meeting. Light refreshments will be served.

If families are interested but cannot attend these meetings, contact Randy Gunn at rgunn51@hotmail. com or go to BeAScout.org.
