This week's Pride of Kimball, Yard of the Week was awarded to Wes Moench at 408 S. Webster in Kimball.

The outdoor space is neatly manicured with a thick green lawn, trimmed trees surrounded by hostas and neat shrubs in white brick beds.

Half barrels of bright marigolds stand guard on each side of the front sidewalk and if one continues on into the back yard, they pass under a white arbor shaded by trees.

On the north side of the property two white Adirondack style lawn chairs recline in the shade from yet another perfectly trimmed tree.

"Jo Ann was and continues to be the inspiration for the care of this property," Wes said. "She had the foresight, skill and enthusiasm to create an attractive, welcoming living space – inside and out. It has been my desire to continue that vision in her honor."
