Local youth excel at basketball camp

Three local young men and one young lady attended the Mike Trader's Mid-America Basketball Camp in Morrill on June 12–14 in anticipation of the upcoming season.

Each of these young athletes, Beau Hanks, Jacob Withrow and Samuel Cajero, were awarded honors at the camp.

Hanks was named most valuable camper in the boy's major league division, was the boys major league forward in the one-on-one championship and was scoring and rebound leader.

Withrow won the hustle award in the boys major league division and Cajero was the nightly and overall leader in assists and joined Hanks as a nightly rebound leader during the camp.

Additionally, the Kimball teammates took top honors in their division for the three-on-three championship and they were all named camp all-stars.

In addition to the boys, Payton Wise participated on the girls red league at the camp.
