Farmer's Day nominations open

The Farmer’s Day committee is ready to take nominations for the 90th Annual Farmer’s Day Grand Marshal, Outstanding Farmer and Outstanding Homemaker.

According to Assunta Calise, the committee will entertain nominations through Sept. 9 for the upcoming town-wide celebration.

While Outstanding Farmer and Outstanding Homemaker titles are self-explanatory, Calise explained that Grand Marshals are those people without whom you just could not imagine Kimball. She said that this person represents the champions of the community.
