Kimball's Federation Wrestling club earned dozens of awards through the season

These four young wrestlers competed throughout the Federation season, racking up dozens of awards through the season, wrestling in up to ten competitions. Pictured, from left to right, are Logan Paxton, Britton Culek, Matthew Johnson and Alexander Newton.

The Kimball Federation wrestling club, with 23 athletes in grades 4-8, wrapped up their year in April with coaches Luke Kelley, Jim McGinnis, Bob Culek, Tyson Culek, Dillon Snyder and Jason Hottell.

Britton Culek closed his first year wrestling with a 28-5 record first year wrestling. Culek wrestled in 10 events took first in six of them, second in three events and third at one competition. He placed second at districts, second at state and third at Midwest classic.

Matthew Johnson ended the season with a 14-17 record, wrestling in ten competitions. Johnson took first place in two contests...
