Lady Coyotes win home tournament

Potter-Dix swept through its competition Saturday to win its home tournament. The Lady Coyotes went 3-0 in tournament play to improve to 9-2 overall on the season. Potter-Dix swept through the competition to win its own tournament last Saturday.

The Lady Coyotes (9-2) defeated Pine Bluffs, Crawford and Morrill on their way to a 3-0 day and tournament championship.

The homesteading team opened play with a 25-17 and 25-17 win over Pine Bluffs.

Dawson Sharman led the team offensively with six kills and two aces, while Anna McLaughlin added two kills in the win. Lanie Thies had a team-high 22 assists and Regyn Hicks led the Lady Coyotes with 13 digs as they advanced to the semifinals.
