Longhorns' season ends with loss to Bobcats

The season ended for the Kimball High boys basketball team in a 59-42 loss to state ranked Hemingford in first round play of the C2-l2 sub-district tournament. With the loss, the Longhorns closed out the season with a 6 win-14 loss record. Hemingford advanced into the sub-district finals where they fell to higher ranked Bridgeport 59-57 in overtime, thus ending the season for the Bobcats as well.

Like always, the Kimball boys gave good effort but were simply up against one of the top teams in their class in the state. The Bobcats led from start to finish. Tyler Magninie led Kimball with 14...
