Last Saturday, approximately 25 Kimball High School students in grades 7 through 12 went around the city to put out plastic bags and flyers to collect food for the local food pantry. The bags were donated by Main Street Market. Students from the Interact Club, Spanish Club, STAND and Stepping Stones were part of this group. This Saturday, the students will go back around the city and pick up the bags filled with food, and donate the food to the food pantry.

In an effort to stock to Kimball Community Food Pantry, students from Kimball Public Schools distributed plastic sacks and flyers to each residence in Kimball on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, the students will return to collect the sack filled with food items and deliver it to the local food pantry. People should set the sack on their front porch by 9 a.m. in order to have it picked up.

Please contribute non-perishable foods and household goods only. Listed here are a few suggested items to donate. They are: Canned fruits and vegetables, canned juices, soaps...
