Jordan Greenwood enjoying college-style golf

Kimball's Jordan Greenwood is faring well with college golf as a member of the highly respected Southeast Community College Men's Golf Team. After an illustrious four year career as a four-time State Medalist for Kimball High, Jordan was recruited by the Southeast Community College Coach and accepted the scholarship offer.

After three spring tournaments, Jordan has ended up in the top ten medal group in the last two outings. Southeast opened the spring season in Missouri, where they finished 3rd on a weekend where the temperature never got above 40 degrees. Jordan failed to medal with his rounds of 82-79.

Next up was the Beatrice Tournament, where the team finished 2nd and Jordan finished 10th as an individual with this two-day rounds of 76-79. This past weekend at McCook, the team won runner-up school, and Jordan was 3rd individually with his 18 hole round of 73. The tournament was shortened to just one day due to the weather. This week, Southeast is at the Sterling tournament, which takes place today (Thursday) and Friday. A good chance for any of you golf fans wanting to see how the game is played at the college level to make the short run to Sterling and cheer on Jordan and his team.
