Santa's Helpers begin holiday season activities just in the 'Nick' of time

The second annual Santa’s Helpers Wreath Contest & Silent Auction is underway.

Anyone interested in decorating a wreath for this year’s silent auction, is asked stop by the City of Kimball. Just eight wreaths are available, but anyone who wishes to bring their own wreath may do so.

Wreaths must be returned to the City of Kimball Office by Friday, Nov. 24, if participants are unable to attend the activities the following day.

Those who are able to attend the auction are asked to have wreaths to the Eagle’s between 3:30 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Participants are encouraged to be as creative as you want! Proceeds from the wreath auction will go to support Santa’s Helpers and future holiday activities in the community. If you would like to donate any other holiday items for the silent auction, please contact Amy Sapp at the City Office.

Children can enjoy donuts, milk and juice with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Kimball Public Library from 8:30 – 9:30.

The tykes can spend some time talking over their own wish list and will take home a coloring book from the jolly man, himself!
