Local shoe drive helps more than 25 countries and raises funds for community improvements

Shoe Drive was a success for the community of Kimball.

135 bags of shoes were collected over the past three months. Last Wednesday was pickup day, volunteers filled Beer and Loathing to help load the shoe bags into the truck, but, of course, it was just loading the shoes that help was needed for. Bags upon bags, boxes or donations, came to the local establishment for the shoe drive, many hours were spent sorting and pairing shoes. Parts in the basement of the bar were packed to the ceiling with bags, once sorted.
