'Bioblitz' slated for this weekend at Oliver

Does mammal trap set-up seem like a fun tutorial? How about bat mist netting or astronomy?

These are just a few of the things one will learn at the Bioblitz, planned by the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory for June 19-20 at Oliver Reservoir just west of Kimball.

Though light meals and water are provided, organizers from RMBO suggest everyone remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and a water bottle.

Attendees can pitch a tent, or park a trailer and stay overnight at the reservoir, where they can enjoy a potluck dinner and music following a plant survey and a bird walk.
