A SPECIAL RETIREMENT VISITOR

Outgoing Kimball County Commissioner Larry Brower, right, had a special visitor at his retirement open house Friday afternoon in the county courthouse. Brower's mother, Miriam, who is 108 years old, came to town for the open house. Residents had the opportunity to visit with Brower at the open house held Friday. The former commissioner chose not to run for re-election after 20 years in office.
